Long, hot days sear through my soul, and beads of perspiration run down my forehead. Dry heat knocks the wind out of of my lungs, and forces me to slow down. A soothing, cool swim is in order. Somehow, my flower garden defies the hot air, and remains ebullient.
This piece is currently part of the Voices in My Head exhibition at the Eleanor London Gallery (located at the Côte Saint-Luc Public Library), until August 19, 2018.
